Our city was New York and the chosen target demographic was young families with children ages (0-15). Conduct research about the city, demographic, experience design, interviewed local residence, and created personas mapping out their day in the life. CONCEPT
Our final concept is called the Common Thread. A smart tactile thread like fabric that morphs, vibrates, gives off heat, displays content, and moves in 3-dimentianal space. The fabric is utilized in the autonomous cars for personal and shared vehicles, as well as everyday wearables like a scarf. Out of the four teams participating in this project, our team was selected by 3M as the top design and presentation.
